The guys periodically meet up with one, which I don't like at all.
The last time for Ds was when he was working on a generator somewhere, a few years ago. It was in the generator shed, and he said that he basically levitated and moved backwards very quickly.
No, I'm sorry, it was in their flowers along their house! That was the last time, and it had to be within' 2 1/2 years because Ds said that he was worried as Thyri was walking with help, and he didn't want it around because of that, especially.
We talked about this article, and he said that he would go back to wearing his rattlesnake chaps when out in the field working. I know that they are uncomfortable, and it's almost too hot to wear them, but...
Awww, how sad about the bird. Sometimes we lose a bird to something like that, and it's terribly sad.
As for pets and snakes...I've had 2 bitten. One was one of my beagles growing up. The snake fell into our yard off of the retaining wall, and Snoopy probably tried to sniff it. The bite, as most pet-snake bites are, was at her head/neck area.
The 2nd was here. It was Lilac, one of our Siameses. She, too, was bitten on the head/face. It was very bad.
But, both lived.
Here, this is the link to my pet/snake bite page. May you never need to use it.
