I love walking to the mailbox then. At sunrise I can see Charlie better the at first light. He fades into the shadows. LOL! Seriously.

I just fixed my lunch - I adore Rustic bread and I cut one skice in half spoon cranberry sauce with or without berries on both side. Since I baked a large Chicken breast this morning... it's a great sandwich.

Plus water and cranberry juice cocktail is perfect. Usually I buy the plain cranberry not the berry sauce. There is something about a chicken breast sandwich on one's favorite bread or your choice... the cool cranberry sauce is so refreshing. And the chicken is perfect also.

Well not single handed.. lol! But more then 1 so far 8-)!

With the new AC Boy gave me.... I am keeping the temps cooler in the afternoon... but I turn it off at night - I don't open any windows but still the house is cooler in the am.

I have one bill that is auto withdraw yet o be processed. The price was lowered for my AT&T usage. Really suprised.

Tomorrow I have to slice up the boxes and any normal cardboard for recycling. Plus I recycle cans, glass bottles, water bottles and so much more. Luckily Mike takes what ever I have and disposes as recyled stuff or trash.

Oh one of my friends who is moving away to a new home - who gave me the awesome vacuum is now givng me a new box fan. She lost her husband on Mothers day - he was very ill and she is selling their home and moving closer to her grown kids famlies.
It was so sad as she is 10 years younger then me.

I truly believe her joining the group at the Civic Ctr saved her. She is real spunky and great fun and I hope we have helped her through the crisis. She joined a month after I did and she is a spark of joy. She hopes to visit us periodically for we are already missing her. Selling her home has her missing many of our gatherings.

Prayers please for Sandy as she makes this change to her life.

I have also changed alot since I joined this group. There is so much laughter. They have encouraged me to accept some of my difficulties I am dealing with. I need new teeth, my Eye appointment in on the 23 and will be 3 hours. I have vision problems. Plus other issues. At least any medical appointments will be free and through my ins. YEAH!!!

We are all worried about this heat. It's months now of over 100. We started out at the level but now hit 105 or higher often. But the kids are dealing with even higher temps. Plus driing to Houston once or twice a week is a days worth of travel hauling a huge trailer full of Boxes to be shipped to the Phillipines. Recently they have had to deal with many truck and trailer issues. This is not a mobile trailer but one that is enclosed and full to brimming with boxes that are often over 100lbs. I can't wait till they go to the Phillipines to live. Their house is built over there... and they will go over during the winter holiday season.

Well, I am now at my two issues that will effect me moneywise. One is that I will have to put aside $1200 dollars for DDs camp next August. I will also be buying her Ensure every month and of course Xmas an Bday gifts yearly. Plus I will be paying her monthly for her extra needs as the govt is only sending her $30 a month for clothes, etc. And I am now paying for some of her Medical appointments. Holy moly this was a shock the other day when I was informed of these changes. Boy is going to help me with some items. Will see how it goes. Prayers please that no more money issues appear.

So far Charlieis doing well. I am really hoping the weather cools off soon. Even the weather folks are at a lost as to when there could be changes.
It's possible that if we DO get a winter that it could be as bad as the extended summer we are now dealing with. I need some serious new clothes. M work boots are ruined, I need regular shoes and rain shoes. At least I still have Amazon, Chewy as needed for Charlies meds, CVS for his other meds, where I go to buy my 5% patches, Kroger for food and water. My extra bills are closer to being paid off thank goodness.. such as Charlies vet bill. Add DD's needs and my necessary bills and WOW!

I am doing ok but am able to deal with it all and I can payoff a number of bills in a few months. RFLOL!!! Thankfully I have the new AC so I no longer have a brain that is burning up.

Maybe some good thoughts can be sent my way over the next few months. It's a balancing act.

I will pray for all of you for what ever you need and the strength to see it through.
