As for wolves I assumed they had to work together more then dogs do.

But Charlie is the ony dog so that is why he can respond to my commands no matter how I phrase them. I can be verbal, use hand signs, and sometimes my slightest request - arm shrug, pointing, making noise - he really does understand me no matter how I get his attention.

I don't have to use my MOTHER VOICE hardly at all. 8-)

I just can't trust him outside my yard. He has made friends with A's golden poodle and they both go ape - Charlie will hold his ball in his mouth and shake his head, his butt and run up and down plus make all sorts of noises. Flinn barks and runs but is on his lease as no fence in his yard.

Charlie knows when A's truck pulls in I am alerted they have arrived. He usually looks for them on weekends.. but ony reacts if A's Truck is in their driveway. LOL.

Well its Charlies lunch time and mine will be shortly after his.
