Plus I walk to the mailbox at 6:30am and it is still humid and HOT.

I walk the yard with Charlie and there is only dead grass and bushes. Even the bit of rain we got only gave the Redtips a breath of fresh air. Now witht he porch roof dying it will be worse inside the house.

I am exhausted trying to put the fence panels up on the chainlink. It's not as bad as I expected, but I can only do it in the early morning.

I try to get Charlie and I out in coolish heat. at least when there is shade either out back or out front. Its more or less a coin toss which is cooler.

Do keep your selves and your pets cool. Charlie has to go out a number of times a day. I always go out with him... to try and limit his running around.

He still is very concerned when the puppies whine. Luckily they are growing fast. I hope they can get rid of them soon. Charlie and Mama aka "HONEY" don't like each other much. But they ignore more then argue. Taht's a good thing.
