"Honey" their mother does reject them ocassionally as they are very healthy and I feel close to being placed.
Their Mom will attack holes along the bottom of my cancas wall. I have slowly been able to close up the bottom with Wood slabs, large carryable boulders, rocks to fill in empty spaces, and even two old pallets that are tied to my chainlink but Charlie can still see through the spaces.
Charlie never dug in dirt. Well he does ocassional now. ARRRGH!!!
So far Ihave been able to call Charlie off the canvas fence where there maybe a spot he can look through or under. Overall he loves having his own yard again.
Their big yellow male cat that opted to not live with the guy who had the black cats across from A's home - has decided to try and live under my house. Since Charlie is out more and I wanted him to have some alone time - sorta - the yellow cat was under the house but I had closed off most of the open spaces along the bottom - so it knew Charlie was by the road so the cat took off at a run and lept to claw its way over the canvas on my chainlink fence to jump a foot to the roof of their shed which is 5 feet from my fence. That cat was scared and Charlie was mad.
The cat was also very lucky! I know there are still openings along the bottom of the house. That is because the house is mounted only on a section of ground along the front of the house while the back is raised on cement pillers. Remember that my home is long so it goes end to end with doors facing the West & East.
Sigh! One of these days I hope to get some luck, i.e. Momey! Wishing for it to come your way as well.
