I tore it in half when I found it. Half I put in the basket of miscellaneous odds and ends. The other half I tore in half again and keep one by the front door and one by the back door. I also have two old good sized bath towels that are perfect for wiping off dried mud. Those I use on Charlies paws after I dip them in a bucket of water. One of the torn bath towel remains by a door for daily use. The system works for me.... but the only cement is my front step. The rest of my yard is gravel, dirt and fossils. 8-) Not a good mix. So I also have yard shoes - one for dry days and one pair for rain or snow days. Charlie is very active but does behave when I grab a paw to wipe off. I usually forget to take my "shoes" off after cleaning his paws up. LOLOL!!! Some days are a real challenge as we go out no matter what the weather is. Well I try not to go out if thunder and lightening. Usually those storms are serious scary! AND LOUD! Living close to the top of a hill means lightening often strikes really close and even right above the roof and trees. Charlie even jumps when I do which means very very very LOUD and CLOSE! |
