Ds has been trying to get him to the vet, but the one that I don't like - and let one of my cats pass away rather than see him - doesn't have an available appt.
The one which I do like, and use, is closed due to covid it says. I don't know if that means that he is avoiding exposure at his advanced age (older than all of us.), or if it means that someone, or several someones currently have it, since it's spreading like wildfire at the moment.
Either way, we are concerned about him.
First, we don't know his age. He isn't all that young, though perhaps not old.
He's usually quite perky, and loves mealtimes, but not currently.
Remember his history: he belonged to a family that had children in it, and another dog. The man left and became homeless, living out of his car. Frankie witnessed his best friend, the other dog, get hit by a car, and it made an impact on him.
He didn't like being away from his dad, but before Ds could decide on taking him, the man turned him into the pound. That caused his separation anxiety to go through the roof.
Ds found out from the man that he was at the pound, and went there and got him. Frankie has cleaved to Ds since. He wants to be wherever his is. Even when here, if Ds leaves the room, Frankie is at his heels.
Ds always stops and gets him a treat when they leave town, and at local jobs, Frankie can go and not wander away.
Anyway, I know how expensive tests and medications are, so after the first thing, which is the most important: That it's not as serious at it seems, that he gets an appt. very soon, and that the cost of discovering what the problem is, and treating it, will be reasonable.
Any prayers for this would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
