I couldn't put off getting dog food another day, when a *small* amount of my monthly money came in. Regardless of what else needs doing, dog food was my #1 priority, so I ran over to Chewy to get their dog food immediately.
Above the dog food page was a message which said that if you spent a certain amount, you got an Ecoupon. Hooray, I thought, and tried to use the code. But, it said that I couldn't, when I entered it.
So, I called them, and the woman said that my dog food was not an eligible dog food. However, I pointed out, they said that I could use the code right above that dog food.
The woman said, never mind, I will give you a different deal that will yield you the same amount of discount.
I was so happy, because I was to save 25% on my order.
She actually placed the order, and told me the amount of my total, which was the 25% off.
However, when I got my confirmation email, the discount was not reflected.
I went to the bank after that, and they took the full amount.
I will call them back in a little while, but it didn't 'stick' the first time, and I'm not sure of what the woman did to give me an equivalent discount. Sheesh...
Wish me luck; I'm not feeling all that confident at the moment.
