I do feed birds but there are snakes here.... so the rodent population is more invisible then visible.
I think you remember my snake event... it was a rodent eater! I am very careful about keeping an eye out for it or others. So far nada snakes.
The grasses grow then die back... now that we are finally getting more rain some is growing again but the trees are beginning to loose their leaves.
40 degree temps are due Sunday. I have to get to a store and buy yard boots the ones I have are disintergrating. (SP?????) They lasted me 7 years. Time for an upgrade. 8-) Plus I need some other outdoor shoes.
Yesterday I was hoping to walk to the Community Center before it began raining. Ops - It began to pour those raindrops that sound like baseballs hitting the roof and ground. I ended up walking anyway but was soaked when I arrived. The rain stopped upon my arrival. HA HA HA! 8-(
Though it was not raining when I was given a ride home. Figures! I was able to let Charlie run in his yard a few times. YEAH! And again this morning after I gave him his pain pills. I gave him part of his breakfast - his kong with a small spoon of natural PNB sans sugar, and his tiny treats. This is his fave morning treat.
We also shared a hardboiled egg - I get 2/3ds he gets 1/3 - so he is napping on my bed while I post. I hate that it is getting darker for I really don't like Daylight Savings anymore.
Oh well - Oh there are 3 or 4 puppies left and they are huge. Over 10 lbs each! I think their Daddy was big. Cause Mama isn't.
Anyway.... I am hoping my life is turning around. Things have been pretty rough, even very difficult the last 3 years.
Ok here is what DrW has planned for me...
1st My Type 2 Diabetes mellitus is well controlled. That was a surprise.
Ok I have an order to have my Carotid Artery stenosis checked.
2nd My Peripheral vascular diseease is to be checked on my bilateral side lower extremity complete.
3rd is a Mammogran both sides. If additional screening if necessary as well as Untrasound if necessary.
4th is Screening for Osteoporosis my entire bone structure. 8-)
Last Multiple Sclerosos MRI Brain scan
Whew! I have to get all this done in - he gave me - three weeks. ROFLOL! Now I have to find transportation. And that is the hardest part. 8-(
Wish me luck.... I really want to know how I am doing physically.
