We have various Marten's here, including the Fisher. They are rarely seen, and are where there are old growth trees.

At some times of the year we can watch the road camera at night, and see an animal running towards us up the road at high speed. You can see it's eyes reflecting, and it's always the same: running at top speed, and in a straight line. Also, at close to the same time each night. But, only in the winter/early spring.
