So thankfully I had 2 huge pastures of hay. I only bought a few alfalfa bales as treats as in Texas you can't grow Alfalfa. They loved it. I had to buy it from Oklahoma ranches.
Since they fed on Hay I couldn't even guess how much they ate.
As to the cat's ear muscles..... not a clue.
