A memory
From when I was a child in Germany
It was a late afternoon in May
When my Mother and I did see

Against the setting Sun in the Sky
This beautiful big Airship floating by
The Hindenburg was on her Way
To her Fate in the U.S.A

We looked and marveled at this sight
In the early evening light
It made a big Impression
On a little girl like me
A perfect moment in History
