Another year is at an end
They seem to go by so fast
We make our Resolutions
And know they may not last
As children we had many
And some I can recall
But as the years go quickly by
Our list becomes quite small
So our childhood just seems to fade
To memories and of such
But as the years go quickly by
My memory isn't much
So we look forward to each New Year
And things that it might bring
Hoping that our luck will change
And then our hearts will sing
But the only Resolution that I took
From childhood to adult
Is be true to one's own self
And never join an occult
