" Thanksgiving Dinner "

I filled my plate with turkey
Then I piled on some ham
I shoveled on the mashed potatoes
Covering it all with gravy and yams

I grabbed some buttered biscuits
Spooned on some lima beans & peas
I'll have a side dish of jello
And some pumpkin pie if you please

The Dutch apple pie was good
The blackberry I would really rate
The cherry pie was delicious
But the pecan was great
-
I drank plenty of milk and juices
While I was sipping a soda on ice
Of course I went back to the pies
For just one more slice
-
I reached for some more deviled eggs
But the room started spinning around
I was still chewing on a tasty drum stick
When I suddenly crashed upon the ground

I crawled back for seconds and thirds
I ate until my face was turning pale
Now I'm laying on the couch
Like some kind of giant beached whale
-
I'm unable to move at all
And that's a real teaser
Because if I could just crawl back into the kitchen
There's ice cream in the freezer
-
But tomorrow's a brand new day
And I just can't hardly wait
To fling open that refrigerator door
And once again, Fill Up My plate !!!!
