I'll tell you a secret
That was once told to me
Soak your bird in simmering butter
Until its as soft as it can be

Keep the fire low
Don't put it at a roar
Then stir in your veggies
And season it some more

Now drop in some bacon bits
While it simmers and soaks
And every so often
Stir it with just a few strokes

Use a little of the sauce
And mix it with rice
And not just any old kind
The old Spanish works out quite nice

Now with your bird soft and tender
Let it marinate over night
The same with your rice
Keep both sealed in the frig tight

Then when your ready
Salt and pepper it for spice
Then open the bird up
And stuff it with your old Spanish rice

Set your oven at 350
And bake the bird with its sauce
Serve your veggies as a side dish
So nothing is a loss

And your bird will turn out great
It can even make an old buzzard
Melt in your mouth and Taste First Rate !!!!
