Time's running out, and my gifts are wrapped and bowed
My ribbons are satin and no money still is owed
The birthday of the newborn King in two days will be here.
The shoppers and the well-wishers are joyful with good cheer.
Far and wide they rush about to make their Christmas bright
They spend much for needless gifts and hurry through the night.
The wee ones feel the happiness; the Christmas
joy, pure love.
And somewhere you can almost hear the Voices
from above.
Away in a manger, In Royal David's City the call is loud and clear.
Oh hurry, scurry once again, our Savior's birth is near.
The world revolves form night to day and bells
ring out to men
Our Father sends his Son to Earth to save us once again.
Is Christmas warm and wonderful or is it gifts and gold? Spending more than what we have, our
Worldly woes foretold.
Or yet is it another dream of how we're Homeward bound? When Jesus came and rose again he blessed us all around.
So Merry Christmas, feel the love; continue on your way. Love your neighbor and your kin, and don't forget to pray.
