"Impressive," Willow remarked.
"WOW!" Serna gasped, "Not as big as that ancient Black Dragon we encountered when we had the Eleventh Talisman but still big nonetheless."
Irzen nodded in agreement.
Talos corrected the group, "Actually a bronze dragon is slightly bigger than those vile black dragons."
"I'll have to take your word for it," Irzen added, "The one we encountered was massive beyond imagining."
The bronze dragon glided ever lower to just above the surface of the water before disappearing beneath it. Its motion mimicked that of a submarine diving into deep water and was gone from everyone's sight.
"That was impressive," The Swordsman quipped, "I didn't know Bronze Dragons could swim."
"Aye. Bronze dragons are semi aquatic for their species. Being able to breathe underwater helps them hunt for sharks and other aquatic creatures for food. I would not want to be on the receiving end of lightning breath under water. I've seen what it does to marauding ships. It's both awesome and terrible to witness when you see a ship get blown to bits from lightning."
"I'll see you and raise you an entire village being reduced to a pool of liquid acid by a Black Dragon," Irzen replied as he sadly shook his head, "Not a pretty picture!"
"Has anyone seen Neven?" Serna asked no one in particular.
Talos looked back over to the puppet theater just as Calish and Neven walked from behind it, "They're still there, see. They must have been just out of sight. It can get pretty congested here during business hours."
"Oh!" Serna sounded relieved, "Neven, what happened? Did you do it?"
"I did," The Thief replied, "But we have to leave this part of the city. I have a key to a well that leads to the guild. However, I can only take one of you with me and I choose you, Lord Irzen."
"Me? Why?"
"Because you can see in the dark," Neven added, "And you are used to close and cramped spaces. The Thieves Guild is underground and you are of the Underdark. That environment is made for you. With you watching my back, I have little to fear."
"Sound logic," Irzen shook his head in agreement, "So where is this well?"
Neven turned to their guide, "Sergeant Talos, where is the nearest district and where is the well within that district?"
"There's a well between the merchants guild and the fighters guild to the north heading back towards the temple of Bahamut. There's one just past the mages guild heading south. Look for them near the side streets." The sergeant gestured both directions. "I recommend the one to the south. A lot less people to notice you."
"Lead on, Sergeant Talos," Neven commanded, "Please take us to the well at the southern end of town. You are our guide and we know not the way."
"After you," Irzen gestured towards the south.
Talos lead the group to the well to the south side of the mages guild. "Over there. Good luck you two. The rest will remain here with me. Should something happen or we're not here when you return, head back to the temple."
"Sounds like a winner to me!" Irzen turned towards Serna and Willow, "Look after each other you two until we return. We should not be too long."
Both Serna and Willow nodded in agreement.
Neven began to examine the well to find a keyhole within which he could fit the key.
