"Aww...geez!" Caliaphy exclaimed from the sight of the carnage below, "When the Torque attacked Asylum thirty years ago is wasn't like this."
"WWWWOOOOWWWWW!!!" Serna gasped in sheer breathless horror, "There's so many of them dying out there. We have to help them!"
The loremaster looked around and spotted the ranger firing arrows at the orcs below. Arlhenwe raised her staff up and brought it down upon the stone wall, a magical healing aura spread out in a three hundred sixty degree radius healing those who had minor injuries and giving hope to those on the edge of loosing hope.
The Ranger stopped firing long enough to look over and see The Shield Maiden, the Loremaster and the Fairy moving towards him.
"Serna, Caliaphy, Arlhenwe what in the Realm are you three doing here?" Willow asked in sheer disbelief.
"Princess Liliandra sent us to the undercroft beneath the city to awaken the palantir which we have done." The loremaster paused for a moment, "Unfortunately, we also encounterd Eilionwy there.
"Eilionwy?! Here?!" The Ranger asked in complete disbelief, "What in The Realm was she doing here?!"
"She had a strange, yet powerful tiara upon her brow that turned her into the red dragon out there on the battle field, my prince." The loremaster said.
"Uuuhhh! You tell him!" Serna shoved Caliaphy forward so she could do all of the explaining
Upon seeing the ranger in all his magnificent glory atop the wall, the kurori turned beat red and fainted.
"Caliaphy!" Serna and Willow cried out in unison as the Fairy fainted. The Shield Maiden was able to catch her friend before she hit the deck and did her best to hold her up.
Arlhenwe shook her head in disbelief, "Not again."
"It must be the heat from the battle! The Fey folk are not used to it. Take her below, get her some water and revive her!" Prince Willow ordered both The Loremaster and The Shield Maiden, "When she comes to, I want all three of you to help the wounded in whatever way you can. Now go! We'll talk later. The battle is not yet over!"
Arlhenwe picked up the kurori and made her way back down the narrow steps of the wall with a frown. "The kurori became enamored by the ranger's stance, Serna. A bad habit when one of the fae comes into contact with elven kind."
The Ranger promptly returned to firing arrows at the dwindling undead on the battlefield.
"Enamored?!" Serna shook her head in disbelief, "Wait a minute! You mean to tell me that she is infatuated with Prince Willow?!"
Arlhenwe nodded, "Yes."
Just then the kurori woke up with a look of confusion, "Oh. How come we're down here and not up on the wall?"
"Because you passed out when you saw MY MAN!" Serna replied indignantly, "Prince Willow is my man, Caliaphy, there are a gazillion other Elves here for you to fawn over. Just leave Prince Willow to me, okay?"
The kurori fluttered to and fro taunting the shield maiden, "Your man? Hah! You don't strike me as the type to really say that Prince Willow is your man, Serna. Besides, you're always pushing me in front of you towards the ranger instead of being brave enough to say what's on your mind."
"Well I'm saying what's on my mind right now!" The Shield Maiden retorted, "Stay away from MY MAN! And you say I'm having trouble speaking to him? Well, at least I'm not passing out at the very sight of him!" Serna stuck her tongue out at The Fairy.
The loremaster rolled her eyes at the two of them but said nothing.
"Pfff! That's just me, ask Alyson sometime, I like to be DRAMATIC!" Caliaphy stuck her tongue out too, "Well, who ever makes it back up the stairs to the ranger gets him first!"
"Oh no you don't!" The loremaster bonked the kurori over the head.
"OW!! HEY NO FAIR TWO AGAINST ONE!"
**BONK!!**
"OWW!" The kurori covered her head in protest from the loremaster's strike.
"Enough, you two!" Arlhenwe snapped at both of them, "This is not the time to be arguing on which one of you is a better choice for Prince Willow."
