"Hey! What did you do, Bronze Man?" Caliaphy wrinkled her nose suddenly.
"Perhaps you should ask, Serna." The bronze man gestured to the girl.
Serna smiled at Caliaphy with an evil grin but said nothing.
The kurori scratched her head and wrinkled her nose slightly, "Are you sure you he didn't do anything, Serna? And why are you grinning?"
Serna channeled her inner Dungeon Master and replied, "The only thing I'm sure of Caliaphy is that I'm not sure of anything. And I'm grinning because it's a beautiful day, the sun is shining and I can't complain."
By this time Madeous had made his way up asking Lazheros in draconic, "What just happened?"
"I merely asked the child a question regarding her predicament." Lazheros replied.
The platinum knight eyed both Serna and Caliaphy sighing, "As long as you two stay out of trouble here, we should be fine. Has anyone seen Alyson?"
"Mhmm. Alyson is outside the inn at the moment," Lazheros gestured to the elementalist down the street, "I will leave these three with you and the Swordsman for a bit."
Madeous raised a hand to interject, "Now wait a minute--"
"Pardon sire," Quake stepped between him and Lazheros, "We should find a place to rest or at least a place to eat. What do you think, Irzen?"
"I agree!" Irzen added patting Madeous on the back, "Rest for us would be good, food for us would be better, and mindless sex for Alyson would be best right about now."
Quake's stomach grumbled again despite having one third of an apple pie.
Caliaphy's eyes widened at the thought of the Bronze Man and Alyson getting hot and busy.
Serna's eyes got as big as silver dollars at that comment.
Madeous coughed, "Mind your tongue, Irzen."
The Swordsman walked off nonchalantly, "And I'm sure Lazheros will be more than happy to accommodate her. Now, shall we find a tavern and get something to eat? I'm famished!"
Lazheros paused, "Perhaps you are the one who needs female companionship, Swordsman? You speak of it often, why not indulge yourself?"
"Food now, sex later, I have priorities!" The Swordsman quipped as he continued to walk down the street, "Besides, I'm not the one whose headed towards an inn. I'm just looking for a restaurant. But I'm sure that inn will have nice warm beds in there built for two."
The Bronze Man walked ahead of the group and met up with the elementalist. He looked up at the sign, "The Dandy Muse. Chef Halas spoke of this place during his travels, fine food, lodging, and entertainment."
Irzen turned back to the others with a devilish grin, "Now, shall we be off to find a feast while Alyson and Lazheros do a little feasting of their own?"
The platinum knight gave the swordsman a hard stare, "That's enough, Irzen. We got the point. This tavern will suit everyone's needs for now. Tomorrow is another day to give us time sight see and perhaps visit the rest of the city."
Alyson rolled her eyes with disgust at Irzen and headed into the Dandy Muse tavern.
Upon entering, the inside was bigger than the outside. Tables and chairs spread out across the floor on either side of the front door. A second tier with more tables and chairs faced towards what looked like a stage at the back of the tavern. A large bar filled with patrons and servers was to the left of the front. To the right was a stairway leading up to the second and third floor of the tavern. The place was filled with elves, half-elves, humans, and a handful of half giants standing to either side of a well dressed man in elegant attire.
"I guess he's the Dandy Muse," Serna whispered over to Caliaphy, "He may look like a dandy but I doubt he's a real Muse."
"Nice place!" Irzen looked around, "I wonder who's the proprietor?"
