Both Sir Gonagle and Captain Lion joined them as Quake turned about and headed down the corridor to the far left. She paused briefly before heading down a spiral stairway for about forty feet where the guards were stationed. "Per orders of Princess Cauladra, the prisoner is to be moved to the far end cell."
One of the two guards nodded and ran ahead to move the prisoner while Quake waited for the others to join her.
Irzen arrived with Serna in tow, "Well, Quake, let's see what your fishing expedition caught for us tonight?"
The elemental waited down at the end of the long corridor flanked by two of the castle guards in charge of the dungeon. Their armor slightly duller than those who served elsewhere in the castle. They were the seasoned elven soldiers who chose to do their roles given to them after many, many generations of servitude. They stepped aside bowing to both the prince and princess.
From the cell, everyone could hear the prisoner singing a pirate's song of 'Dead Men Tell No Tales.' Quake shook her head quietly, "Oy! He's still singing? Well maybe he'll sing a different song when Irzen and Captain Lion have a few words. That is of course if Prince Birch and Princess Cauladra wish to have a chat with him?"
"Well, he's no Bard that's for sure!" Serna bemoaned as she listened to the song.
"Don't worry, Serna, chances are pretty good that our hosts will probably have his tongue cut out after our interrogation is done. At the very least, NO ONE will be subject to his bad singing ever again." Irzen added.
The Princess stepped forward, "Has the Thrall been suitably restrained and chained to the wall?"
The guard to the left stated, "He is VERY restrained, your highness."
"Good! As it should be for all who dare threaten us." The Princess responded, "You may open the door."
Captain Lion stood there with hands behind his back anticipating a series of questions and answers that could go either way.
Quake unlocked the door and pushed it open for everyone to see the prisoner who was mostly human. It was only at close glance that one could see he was a half elf, slightly feral and sporting two sets of fangs instead of one. His eyes were a dull red and his skin was pale indicating he may been recently turned.
"He's a young blood." Captain Lion blurted out.
"A what?" Sir Gonagle asked.
"Those who are first turned or embraced by a master vampire. Some call them vampirelings. Ones who have proven themselves worthy of becoming apart of the coven." The airship captain stated.
Prince Birch strode into the room, "What is your name creature? You once were of elven-kind. You once had a name. What was it before you became the monster I see before my eyes."
"Judging him by his looks, a half elf. Commoner with a long standing grudge most likely towards his elven half rather than the human side." Sir Gonagle made a astute observation.
The half elf narrowed his blood red eyes at the prince and snorted, "Well. Well. Well, if it isn't East Port's finest prince in all the land. Where were YOU when the bloodsuckers showed up?! Oh, yeah out to SEA! Who I was doesn't matter anymore! Like you care gallivanting in the middle of the Fire Sea cuz' you're unable to run the business of politics!"
