As the guards closed the door of the vampireling's cell, Irzen walked up to Quake, "What are you blushing about?"
At first Quake said nothing lost in her thoughts and images that came to her when she communicated with the elementalist. Shaking her head sheepishly, "Timing. It's all about timing you know. You asked me to let the lady know and I did and...I..ah..we don't just talk in our minds, we share other senses like sight, touch, hearing. Nothing like sending a message and hearing Ooos and Aaahhhs if you get my meaning."
"You caught your lady mid-coitus?!" Irzen laughed, "Better get used to it, Quake, Alyson and Lazheros are stuck tighter together than peanut butter and jelly. Hell, with them making goo-goo eyes at each other all the time, I'm surprised you don't catch her in the throes of erotic ecstasy more often than you do."
Quake cleared her throat, "Which is the reason why I do pair off with someone else, so I don't have to be around a giant horny lizard."
Irzen laughed again, "Good point! So, if you don't mind my asking, whose your significant other? Someone I know?"
"Don't have a mate, Irzen. Don't plan on finding one either. The three guardians I provided for the Duergar in Mt. Chasme was purely a gift of nature itself. Besides, I am one of a kind and so is my older brother, which you and the others have yet to meet." The elemental brushed her hair over her shoulder, "Now lets get hunting some vamps!"
"You have ANOTHER brother?!" Irzen scratched his head, "Can't wait to meet him. Any way, you're right! It's time to start killing some vampires. After you!"
"Yes. Razorlink is first born. I'm second born and the twins well they evolve on their own as you've seen." The elemental said quietly.
Captain Lion deliberately coughed, "We all have our assigned roles. There will be plenty of that particular kind of attention elsewhere."
The gnome shook his head, "All you tall folk. Sheesh. Focus people! Focus on rooting out a bunch of blood suckers!"
"Gentlemen," Irzen replied, "There is nothing wrong with a little levity to lighten a dark situation. We have grisly work to do! Plus, levity does help Serna calm her fears. You have not been around her long enough to know that, Captain Lion, but I do."
Serna said not a word but looked up at Captain Lion and nodded in agreement.
Quake headed back up the spiral steps out of the dungeon and waited for the others to join her.
Irzen followed as did Serna with her armed retinue.
Following Captain Lion's lead with Sir Gonagle in tow behind Serna and her bodyguards the group eventually made it to the first of the two airships. Captain Lion's ship was a mix of gnome and human crew. Another officer approached them and saluted, "Captain on deck!"
"There are vampires afoot Maxim. Ready the slayers and hunters." The Englishman addressed him.
"Yes sir!" Maxim turned about face and headed back into the ship's interior.
"WOW!" Serna looked around and took in the full majesty of the airship. "It's bigger and more beautiful than the last time I saw it. Captain Lion, how far up can you go? Can you reach the stars?"
"Above the clouds yes, to the stars no I'm afraid." Captain Lion scanned the horizon briefly and headed towards his quarters.
Serna followed along with her Guards, "Awww! I've heard stories of ships that can sail across the sea of stars to other worlds just like our own. Have you heard of them too?"
After Captain Lion, Sir Gonagle and Serna departed with their retinue, Irzen arrived at the landing and looked around, "So where is her Ladyship and her boy toy Dragon? I thought they would be here by now. Or are they still recovering from their extra-curricular activities?"

Alyson mumbled in her sleep, "...okay Quake."
Lazheros got up quietly and left the room briefly to confer with Madeous about the plans set in motion. A few minutes later he returned not that he was worried for Alyson's safety but rather enjoyed their quiet time together.

"They will be here shortly, Irzen." Said the platinum knight walking up the gang plank. He stopped just short of him and folded his arms.
"Good to know!" Irzen quipped with a knowing grin, "Are you ready for some vampire hunting?"
A handful of hunters and slayers came out armed to the teeth with wooden stakes and silver crossbow bolts attached to the sides of the crossbows.
The Swordsman made note of the new arrivals, "Someone clearly is ready to kill some vamps! WOW!"
Sir Gonagle came out of the armory carrying a modified heavy repeating cross bow. The chamber looked similar to a six shooter commonly held by gunslingers from Wild, Wild West in America. "One modified heavy repeating crossbow with specialized bolts already loaded with wooden silver tipped bolts laced with divine energy."
"Nice! Very, very nice, Sir Gonagle!" Irzen accepted the weapon eagerly, "Thank you very much! This will do very nicely. I have to hand it to you, you Tinker Gnomes do know your craft and you know it well. Nice work! Excellent craftmanship! And perfectly balanced! Thanks again!"
