The worst part of post-Christmas for me as a kid was walking to school and passing all the Christmas trees tossed out to the curb. For weeks, everyone was saying how beautiful they were and now they're garbage. To this day, I've never put a tree out at the curb; I save it until about April or May and burn it in the yard.
