I could be wrong.But on the TAGS Christmas ep. there is the part where Barney is bringing in the Christmas tree through the front door of the courthouse.He carries it in Bottom first which is correct.You see the wooden X stand attached. Looking at the bottom branches very briefly, they look like a PINE with long needles. Yet when we see the tree in the upright position it seems to be a FIR with a lot more branches that makes it more attractive to decorate. Just a thought....
