The why is because the Govt. is going to force us to go "green". The push is to have all automobiles be electric by 2030. Just think, our power grid is unable to meet the demand today in many areas of the nation which is why there are so many rolling blackouts in the summer. Now imagine all automobiles being plugged in to recharge each night. Can you say manufactured crisis?
