The only negative, the battery needs replacing and can be purchased from your local rep, or on eBay for around £30. The unit is powered via the OBD port when connected, and can be powered by the supplied ac adaptor or supplied other power connections as pictured when using scope functions, so not really and issue but needed to mention it.
