Recruiting for the garage trade is an absolute nightmare. I put an advert very similar to yours in 10 newspapaers around the area. Of the 2 applicants, one could barely speak in sentences and was on some kind of rehabilitation programme whilst the other was 'computer literate' but didn't actually know how to e-mail a cv.
