WANTED - Portable inductive strobe #

I am after a strobe for older cars with a inductive clamp prefer a advance type just broke mine apparently they are not meant for driving over ray

Hi Ray,

I got mine from Halfords about a year ago. OK, its cheap and cheerful but does the job and comes out of its box 2 - 3 times per year. I also use it when testing plug leads (remember them?) and an invaluable piece of kit for the older car. E.Bay also had a few. My original one died when struck by an electric fan that came on expectantly.

Facom still do a top quality timing light with advance, dwell and RPM etc

What about a 2nd hand snapon timing light from ebay. I still have a snapon light whch is old and still functions superb when I need it.
