WANTED - Training manuals / books #

Hi all,

I'm almost finished the bosch diagnostic programme. I have scanner danners book and dan sullivans.

Looking for bosch yellow jackets ect? Would really like bosch understanding fault codes and live data as I can't attend the course down south. Anything else like Frank Massey DVDs ect

Hi Kris

Most of my Technical manuals were either sold or given away when I gave up my unit.
Will check up the loft at home when weather warms up.

What I have retained though is every monthly copy of the Electronic Diagnostic section of the Car Mechanics magazine from Oct 1994 then featuring the ubiquitous Ford Granada & Sierra.

I have found them invaluable over the years and ten minutes swotting up on various problem cars before setting out have paid dividends.

The original technicians who wrote the articles were Frank Massey then James Dillon and currently Dean Birch all from UK/Autotalk.

The layout showing sensor & actuator locations,typical faults,tech specs and ECU pin outs are excellent.

The current Car Mechanics shows a Peugeot 407 1.6 HDi and others can be purchased in book form.

I also subscribe to the car mechanics mag every month from around 2001 and as said does have some good sections in it.

Wasn't there a chap called Simon Ashby doing the electronic diagnostic section as well. (advanced-diagnostics I believe)

Frank Massey was obviously before my time.

I bought a few of the Yellow jacket books and must say they are superb, especially the 2 diesel ones I have.
