Last week, I heard a lot of noise that it was too many promotions in short order by the Bears. 1st promoting Thomas Brown to replace OC Shane Waldron. Then only 2 weeks later Brown promoted to replace Eberflus. Now this week Im hearing similar rumblings, that the defense is lost without Eberflus. The hindsight takes are almost always a load of crap.

2 weeks ago, everybody was talking about how tennessee might sneak up on the redskins. Instead. The Titans, who did match up really well. Went out & laid an egg. The worst game they played all year. The hindsight take was the Titans were done. Lost interest on the season and would mail in their last 4. On sunday, Brian Callahan. Former oc in Cincy. Rookie hc for titans. Had his squad ready for the revenge game. They gave cincy all the Bengals could handle! At halftime. The untalented Titans looked poised for an upset. Cincy did pull out the victory. But it showed something concerning those hindsight takes. Tennessee didnt lay down in washington. Instead.they were looking ahead at a game they had circled in preseason. Our HC vs his former team. The Titans not only showed up vs cincy. They played it as their superbiwl. Nearly pulled it off.

Last week. The niners steam rolled a bears squad that the pundits tell us is in mail it in mode.
It may be the case. Except, me thinks Chicago was instead looking forward, past the niners. To tonights Viking rematch in prime time. The national audience moment. Revenge for a loss that many of those bears players probably believe they should have won.

The "experts" tell us the bears are in mailing mode. Im not buying it. Me thinks tonight will be a dog fight.

I agree with Schleppy. Block out the noise- take care of your own business. Traditionally, the Vikings always stumble & trip over their shoelaces in these late season moments. With their next 2 opponents playing e/o on snf last night. Looking past tonights game seems an almost certainty for the home team. Leaving the door cracked open for the Bears to unite and plant a flag they can look to as 2025 motivation.

Ive smelled it all week. Hopefully, instead. Im picking up the odor of a dead mouse in the wall behind the couch.
