The 2 best teams in the run game in 2024 were the Ravens & the Eagles. It remains to be seen how these 2 rosters fill out for the upcoming season. I'd expect their designs to be focused upon that game next february.

Its just my opinion, but id paint those 2 squads as the most likely matchup. Id add Washington in as a darkhorse, perhaps Buffalo if they can improve their run defense. KC if they can jumpstart their run offense. The next tier would include Lions/ Rams bc of their ability to run the ball.

Pretty much everybody else is already mostly eliminated via the idea- how do you stop Saquan Barkley/ Derrek Henry with your front 7.
Most teams have built defenses designed to stop the aerial circus attacks. That design is not going to cut it come February 2026.
