Nfl games started in the morning.
Mnf ot games never went past 9:30 pm.

Its such a different thing. Being a fan on the left coast. Where most games are finished before dinner time.

A west coast trip for yankees fans? That 7:10 start in LA or Seattle = final pitch post midnight.

I associate watching games with breakfast & a cup of coffee. I dont blame you at all for not liking west coast road trips. Idk if id be as big of a fan if the games finishes had been in competition with the tonight show. World series games- superbowls, finishing up after my childhood bedtime.

Heck, who stays up to watch ncaa fb games for the Hawaii Rainbows? They start at 10pm here!

It reminds me of the days in my childhood. When my dad was a milwaukee bucks fan. Lew Alcinder, Oscar Robertson. The uhf channel 36 in San Jose would tape delay rebroadcast bucks games on friday night after the 10pm news. Pops would let me stay up & watch the game with him a fond memory of dad bonding for sure. But I think mostly i fell asleep before the start of Q4.

I got conditioned to day games. Especially in the nfl. As a result- I dont like waiting all day for TNF/SNF/MNF. LOL, heck that first day we go off daylight savings time and the body clock says the game starts an hour later annoys my senses.

I'll be riding that Tiger bandwagon with you this year. Partly bc i think TC gonna suck. Mostly bc the owners reneged their promise to sell the team. Im pissed about that. Cancelled my mlbtv subscription. Its the only protest vote i have.
