The defense budget for 2024 was $842b and that budget had an overun, needing a congressional order to meet obligation about 45 weeks into their fiscal year.

To date. Doge efforts at DOD have found $50m in waste/fraud/abuse. Probably most of that is employee firings.

I bet cutting starlink could quadruple + that savings level by itself.
I read recently. Verizon was handling communications for the FAA on a $5.1b contract. Starlink somehow inserted itself into that space. Causing cancelation of that verizon contract and elons company doing it instead for $8.8b.

Now thats some killer savings eh?
Thats nearly double the cost and more airport/airplane problems in 3 weeks than the prior 3 years.
