?feature=shared That is some drum set Peart banged to perfection. Saw this live at sac memorial auditorium in 1976. We were in the 6th row of a rate assigned seat event. Rush stole the show from headliner Ted Nugent. ?feature=shared Of course. My personal favorite. Don brewer did more with less. Even banging the tom with his forehead when i saw them at the cow palace? 73? 74? Bought tickets to see the who. See Keith moon at the Oakland colesium arena. Sadly keith OD-ed before the us leg of their 78/79 tour. Never got to see the guy. Like Peart. Thats a helluva set-up for Moons " controlled chaos" style. ?feature=shared I did manage to see John Bongam in 1977. Ac/dc & danatana opened. Led Zeppelin stunk up the jount. Obviously drunk/high outta there minds. I think Bonham almost gnawed his tongue off for this one ?feature=shared. I wish i could find video of a show I saw in 97. Ub40. 2 guys with seperate bongo setups. 3 drum sets on stage. Their final encore that night twas a medley of hits that lasted about 30 minutes. All of the existing 40 band members played on stage. All 5 drum sets banging away. It was like a reggae symphony. A perfection of percussion. And the best of y2k. Danny Carey. Tech advances show large here. The guy is just awesome. Every song by tool is darn near an ebdless cacophony of percussion. No short takes for Carey. ?feature=shared Still. The guy most dont know. The inventor of the drum solo. The king of drums. Watch him glide at the 3:30 mark. ?feature=shared Todays drum takes- brought to you by the greatest nfl td song- ?feature=shared |
