I moved to Texas in October 1998. First thing I did was get tickets to the Vikings Cowboys Thanksgiving Day game. That was the year Moss was a rookie and carried a HUGE chip on his shoulder towards the Boys. I think he had 3 catches for 160 yards and 3 touchdowns that day!! It was such an awesome day. That was at the old Texas Stadium. What a toilet. It was that day I realized that Cowboys games are nothing more than a social event for their fans. I saw most people dressed up business casual, and you could tell all they were interested in was telling everyone at work on Monday that they were at the Cowboys game on Sunday. The Viking fans were running around chanting and singing the Viking fight song with their faces painted and all dressed up in purple helga hats!! Great day.
