But they wont
Its probably going to be one of their former oc's. Brian Dabol or Joe Brady.
Which is stupidity. Back to the future- from a coaching standpoint. Is a difficult dynamic.
I wonder why- Deion Sanders isnt getting mentioned as a possibility for some of these open jobs. Cleveland especially.
I looked up some ages of candidates. 2 "other" defensive genius. Anthony Weaver- miami, Ejiro Eviro- carolina... Both are 45. For some reason, i thought Brian Flores was nearing 60... Hes 44.
Anthony Campinelle, Jax- he's also 44.
If i were hiring, and flo/ McDermott arent available... Id chase Ejiro Eviro to be my teams hc. One of those guys that does more with less by identifying his players strengths. Designing his scheme around his players.
That absolutely is the strength of Indiana HC Curt Cignetti. His secret sauce. The down fall of koc. Its fine to desire your team run a scheme. But it must be tweaked to fit the talent on the field.
That is the #1 trait of the great coaches. Create round holes for your round pegs to slide into.
The top trait of great oc's? Do the opposite of what the defense thinks is coming.
Misdirection & deception- FRIGGEN DUH!
KOC thinks its rocket science.
Its not!
