My pops, you know i cherish his wisdom. He once told me. The essence if religion is the deeds you undertake outside prying eyes. I asked him what that means, where is that in the bible?
He said its all throughout the bible. The undercurrent. That god knows your heart and he will be your judge.

If i get a response. They change the subject. Dont answer for what i ask or critique.
Mostly they dont respond.

To create a billion x a thousand personal relationships. That is the jesus plan for religion. Love thy neighbor and praise the father together. Christian, jew, muslim, mystic & agnostic. Hindu & buddhist. All mankind. Brothers with love for each other. Not the 21st century definition of love. The biblical sense of love. Ie- respect & fellowship or, at a minimum. Tolerance & peaceful tidings.

Love thy neighbor. So many ppl always say that too hard... Really? To tolerate and pray for someone instead of hate them? Despise their deeds but hold out hope for their conversion?

Believe me. There are many times i think. If i were given the chance. Id kill Trump. That is human nature. To destoy evil.
Except- its my selfish desire and i know not the fall out of such a deed. To martyr Trump might be worse. So i catch myself. If its gods plan. God will destroy him when its time. Besides. In my selfish desire? Im losing my priority. Which for all of us should be redeeming our own soul.

Love thy trump? Man. That is some kind of crazy ask! I battle it everytime he speaks. As evil a man as he has not met mine eyes before.
I can pray for his conversion and stand against his evil. In the meantime tolerate him as best I can.

Ya know, my priest- father Jerome once said to me. He loves trump for 2 reasons. 1- attempting to end abortions. And at least putting a dent in the scale of the death.
2- he will bring about the end of days and then we all get to see heaven.

A priest/ minister is only a man.
As is a dali lama, Pope, potus or dictator.
All of these will one day bow before his judgement with no more/ no less at his defense than the next man.

Dont they all teach the same? Take only what is neccesary, desire not your neighbors share. Treat all life as precious. Attempt to walk the earth in peace. When possible and obvious. Lend a hand.

Im not trying to preach at anyone and tell them how to live. Im only suggesting these are the goals i strive for. My thoughts. My lessons from the path ive walked. Confessing in the process i often fall short. Especially in the moment.
