He was a rostered player 4 seasons at Ferris state,( Big Rapids, Michigan(D-2)
Played in 25 games there, 16 starts. Including his final season where he led the Bulldogs to a D-2 national championship and named the Great Lakes Conference player of the year.
If you watched the college playoffs. Chambliss poise, athletic ability both rushing and passing. His maturity, Calm in the pocket and keadership absolutely jumped off the screen and made this fan take notice!
He started 13 games for ole miss in 2025. Winning 11. Losing 2 close games. 1 @ powerhouse Georgia Bulldogs( defeating the same team later in the playoffs with a 145 qb rating/ 90.2 qbr 362 yd passing day- 2tds/ 0 ints/ 0 sacks/ 30-46)
But then losing in semi final round to miami.
Chambliss had a respectable game vs that stout miami d. The tebs didnt lose bc of anything chambliss did. Infact. The nearly won as big underdogs mainly because of the play from Chambliss.
His year for the Rebs? Their named starter, Austin Simmons went down in week 2 with an ankle injury. In week 3, Chambliss started vs Arkansas. 353 yards passing, 74% comp. 1 pass td & 2 rushing tds on 15 carries)62 yards. When Simmons eventually became healthy enough to start again. Trinidad was putting up such great performances. The Former D-2 star had cemented his role as the starter. Puuting up nearly 4k yards passing w 22td/ 3 ints. Adding another 8 tds rushing on 133 carries. 530 yards .. IN THE SEC! The went 12-1 on that sec schedule.
They were projected as a 8-10 win team. That might compete for a cfp birth if they could rebuild a defense that had lost many key defendersto x-fer, graduation, nfl.
When Austin Simmons went down. Most pundits thought there season would tank.
Enter unheralded, 1 year starter D-2 "project". From Ferris state. Who it proved out. Was no project at all!

2025 SEC Preseason Predictions: Picks For Every Game and Team Schedules
Aug 10, 2025 —
Key 2025 Predictions and Analysis:
CFP Contender: ESPN’s FPI metrics give Ole Miss a 30.7% to 35.9% chance to make the 12-team College Football Playoff, generally predicting an 11-1 record for the regular season.
Ranking: The Rebels are viewed as a pre-season top-20 team, with some predictions placing them in the top 10 to 15 range.
Offense: Quarterback Austin Simmons is highly regarded, and the offense is expected to remain potent, aided by key portal additions.
Defense: While the defense lost significant talent, particularly on the defensive line (Walter Nolen, Jared Ivey, etc.), the team is relying on portal transfers to restock.
Schedule: The home schedule is considered favorable, but road games at Georgia and Oklahoma are identified as major hurdles.
Projected Outlook:
Analysts are divided on whether the team hits the high end (10+ wins) or closer to 8-9 wins, with the latter hinging on how quickly the defensive line and secondary gel. The consensus is that the team remains in the upper echelon of the SEC, with an outside chance to break into the top 3-4 of the conference standings.

Summary of 2024 season @ ferris state
https://www.google.com/m?q=trinidad+Chambliss+2024+stats+at+ferris+state&client=ms-opera-mobile&channel=new&espv=1#lfId=ChxjMe
My summary? 3 years of experience in ncaa as a qb.
Year 1-Limited action 8 games as relief/ backup in 2023 after 2 seasons riding pine w zero action.
Got his feet wet.
Year 2. Div 2 starter. 16 starts and conf poy/ natnl champions trophy.
Year 3. Xfer to ole Miss rebs to be backup to Star qb of Lane kiffens offense. Became defacto starter in week 3. Mop up duty in week 2 after starter simmons went down. Tosses zero passes. Rushes or hands the ball off to run out the 4th qtr clock. Conventional wisdom at the time. Ole Miss promising season was no longer promising
Instead. Chambliss keeps his mouth shut to the press. Puts up an incredible sec season.
It should also be noted. At the end of November.
Lane Kiffen made it public. He was leaving the Rebels to become HC at rival LSU.
Before the playoff seedings were announced. Before game planning for their 1st playoff matchup. Kiffen announced he was bailing on his kids. Most teams? We eould expect to crumbleunder such controversy
Lane Kiffin did not coach Ole Miss during the 2025-2026 College Football Playoff (CFP). After accepting the head coaching job at LSU in late November 2025, Kiffin departed from Ole Miss, leading to the Rebels playing without him in the CFP. Defensive coordinator Pete Golding led the team, though some offensive staff assisted with the playoffs before leaving for LSU.
Departure: Kiffin left before the CFP, having taken a seven-year deal at LSU, though he requested to coach in the postseason.
Coaching Replacement: Defensive coordinator Pete Golding served as the acting head coach for the CFP.
Staff Turnover: While several staffers, including offensive coordinator Charlie Weis Jr., initially assisted, many later departed for LSU.
Financials: Kiffin still profited from the Rebels' success, as his agreement with LSU required them to pay his CFP bonuses ($500,000 for wins over Tulane and Georgia).

Right now. Chambliss is out of eligibility. A likely 2026 nfl draft candidate. Ive searched around. Its as if this kids remarkable 2025 season didnt happen. He's projected as a mid rounds selection.
If JJ Mac, was a 1st round Viking leadership Darling? Chambliss is Willie Wonkas Golden Ticket! Champagne, Cavier in a private suite.
(Name your personal favorite) The red silk sheets turned down and your dream date lying atop whispering "Come hither lover boy. I have a bag filled with money for you, sitting in the table over there. If you'll just spend a wekk with ne here. In private".
Lol- in other words. The kid is KOC's wet dream.
Experienced enough. Good/ to great measurables. A leader & winner. And. Built to withstand nfl play. Mid round pick?
Idk about that status... Hence- february 12.
The decision of that court. I think we should keep an eye on this situation.
I hate the idea of spending another 1st round pick so soon. Yet, with Keesi running the draft. Picking at 18. Who has any confidence the vijings arent going to make us groan with agony/ dissapointment come draft day. Regardless of who is available.
With an astute gm- I'd hold firm. Build the rest of the team in '26/'27 drafts. If someone like Chambliss slides to late 2nd rnd or early 3. Move up & get the guy.
Unfortunately, Kwesi looks to be safe for at least another draft. I fully expect another overhyped analytics 5star from a top school. Playing on a top unit as the ultimate picks kwesi makes in the 1st 2 rounds. Guuys that slide past other teams. The teams that do the deep dive and find out which are actually motivated players with nfl star power in their future. The hard workers, team 1st guys instead of the self promoters like Lewis Cine. Or the non nfl body type like Dallas & JJ who rise on the backs of teamates.
If Kwesi is there? And Trinidad is there?
Am I wrong? Is it not a no-brainer.
