THEY LIKE IKE!
America was united! Perhaps to its highest level since the post revolution euphoria?
The baby boom was in full swing!
The initial post war unemployment crissis that made the mid/ late 40's problematic. Alongside a housing shortage and inflation created mainly from war debt andbpost war shortages until factories converted for war production were completely sataffed and back to producing forvdomestic needs. War time price freezes were lifted too. Also a major inflationary factor. Bc, as like pist war covid that disrupted supply & distribution. A war ravaged europe had to have nearly all of its supple chain built from burned out ruble to functional and ramp up to meet demand.
1952 is considered, about the greatest boom year of the 20th century. Housing supply had caught up to demand. Wages had caught up to inflation.
Our future was never more promising to the working stiff! With one caveat. Ya had to be white.
Still. Their were pockets. Cities, towns. The "assimilated" minority was almost fully welcomed.
Perhaps tolerated was more accurate.
But it wasnt clise to wude spread and didnt exist at all in dixie. Its a shame the next 2 decades didnt not produce a smooth transition to equality and acceptance. As if a color blind "kindness" virus had spead to all points of he compass.
It was the greatest cgance for it to iccur in our entire history. It didnt.
It not the point of the movie to come. The prosperity of 52 isnt even the point.
You will see the point rather quickly.
Its a well told story. A great deal hopeful! Aspirational if perhaps rather blatant propoganda.
Regardless. You decide what it is. I find it an intersting time capsule that has its place of relevant viewership in 2026. ✌️
Go get the popcorn. Buttered please. & A 7up.
The movie starts in like 6 minutes! Hurry go!
Sweet! 1st a cartoon!
