Framber is a heckuva add for a contender.
In todays mlb. Any starter that gives a team 150 innings is a bonus. Framber has consustently given over 180. Tossing 192 in 2025. I think there was only 2 in all of mlb that got to 200 last year. So? The ground ball & dbl play specialist is as vlose to a workhorse as there is. Yep! Great signing!

There wasnt enough money in the world for framber to even think about playing for the light hitting, awful defense twins. Anyone suggested frambers was considering or the twins were trying? Was either stined out their minds or playing the agent leverage game. Where the handler inflates the # of teams inquiring.
Pohlads wont deny such hogwash. They can later tell the fan base- "we tried to sign framber".

The twins have spent the offseason finding name recognition cheap players who never reached potential. Twins futility record was set in 1982, tc lost 102. In 2011 & 2016 they lost 101. Last season they lost 92.

The rest of the central is likely improved from last season and the twins are worse.

I do not see how the team doesnt sail past that 1982# with ease. Vs the division alone i think they can find another dozen losses.

Mlb's current CBA expires in december. Expect mass changes or major contraction. Near a dozen teams are making it a point in '26 to go full Charlie Comiskey and install that 1919 "Black Sox" feel in their teams clubhouse.

If Joe Ryan isn't traded before mid june I'll be shocked. He quit on the team at last years trade deadline. Staying healthy will be his only desire as a 2026 Twin. Id like to be pissed off about that. Except. Who can really blame the guy. Modern era pitchers are asked to go max effort every pitch. Why would anyone give max effort for the bad news moose?

The lone bright spot for tc fans. The farm system of the organization gets much press as being one if the best in baseball. Tune into to twins games. You'll get to see the farm hands develop in front if your eyes.
