Signing Carr would be so typical Vikings!! Find a QB who hasn't played the last year or two, sign him, and squeeze a couple good years out of him. Lather rinse repeat. I wish we didn't suck so bad at drafting a good QB. And I'm on board with having a kick butt running attack but in the NFL you still have to show that you have the ability to throw the ball otherwise defenses will stack to stop the run and I'm not that confident in JJ QB yet. I'd love to trade the other JJ right now and just start over. We tend to not go all in on a rebuild, but just try to re-tool instead. This might be the time for a full reboot. It's going to be a big challenge to get under the cap AND sign some free agents to help us out next year. Without a GM, that should be interesting. I think Studwell is still head of college scouting. Maybe they'll lean on him a bit too. He's got a lot of experience in the NFL.
