An ot win for Kirko. I had forgotten... For a moment after the Kyle Rudolph td catch that won it in OT was under scrutiny, bc it was in that brief window when PI- call/ no call was reviewable.

Watching it tonight. I could not recall the outcome. And for that split second, I was thinking. Of course it's going to get overturned, bc- It's the Vikings. They always get hosed.

Lol- nope. Not that night. It was nice to watch that team. They were a fun bunch. Last season of Xavier Rhodes. Eric Wilson getting his 1st reps as l er depth. Marcus Sherels returning kicks. Andrew Sendejo and Anthony Harris getting their reps. Everson Griffen, linval Joseph and Daniel Hunter up front... Barr & Kendricks in their prime. Dalvin Cook had a great game. The over the shoulder catch by Theilan on the Kirko moon all sets up the ot win. Pure Junk O-line held up well... Bc?
Zimmer stayed committed to the run. KOC could learn a truck or 2 from the stefanski offense Zim ran. Lots of sprint passing a screen game that sprung often enough.

Yep, yep, yep... Fun team. It's a shame it all fell apart after that season... The drafts since then pretty darn bad. And of course, Kirkos contract began to escalate....

The following week, in the 2nd half( 14-10 at half time)... The niners didn't allow the Vikings a 1st down until around the 2 min warning. The junk O-line got exposed. The defense was limping in after a few key players got beat up good in New Orleans... 49ers pulled away. 27-10 final.

Still. Zim & crew... That saints game was the swan song of their glory.... Heckuva underdog (+8pts) road win. Especially considering Theilan lost a fumble on the 2nd or 3rd play to open the game.
Adam made up for it with the clutch catch in OT👍
