Back in 2009 when I was 1st diagnosed with Cancer. I had used Cobra to keep my teamster medical benefits. Back in '09, that was over $800 per month premium. Plus the deductables and co-pays. I spent over triple the $11k the lady in the vid says she saved bc of "no tax on tips".
Id have to look it up. I think I spent just under $35k out of pocket in '09. A similar amount in 2010. 2011 it skyrocketed. You do the math on 10% CO pay of a $900k & change treatment.... And that was just for the actual final treatment, hospital stay from Sept 6 thru nov 11. Stem cell & bone marrow x-plant. Numerous blood transfusions. A private negative pressure hospital room. I was dam lucky to not go bankrupt. My dr declared me disabled in august of that year. Eventually medicare did reimburse about half of my out of 2011 pocket from my file date (August 21, 2011) to end of year 2011. But that took 2 years of legal manuevering, and more out of pocket.

But Trump sez to the gig worker( no medical with gig work) "oh thats good! $11k will go a long way paying for your husbands cancer treatment".
