If so, I had forgotten.
I had to look it up. Thought it was conference USA back then
Nope. The big East part of what became the aac. Conference USA was some fun football. Didn't realize how long ago that was. (98-2004)
More I didn't know-
Key Details of Kelce's College Career:
Suspension: He was kicked off the team (and lost his scholarship) for failing a drug test for marijuana prior to the 2010 Sugar Bowl.
The Switch: During his suspension, he was forced to play tight end rather than quarterback upon his return to the team.
Brotherly Support: His brother, Jason Kelce, advocated for his return and allowed Travis to live with him to help him maintain discipline.
Working to Return: While suspended, he had to work a job and fight his way back into good standing with the coaches.
2012 Standout Season: He set a school record for receiving yards by a tight end (at the time) and was later drafted in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft by the Kansas City Chiefs.
