I heard that somewhere the other day.
I appreciate that note from Tommy Kramer.
"Playing for the love of the game"...
We don't have a lockeroom here.
Most of us don't know much about the other guy(s)... And our numbers have shrunk.
Yet, this is the closest thing I have known to comraderie over these past 10-15 years. Especially since I came to Idaho.
We ain't here for the money. Lol. That's for sure.
The love of the game, the comraderie.
That comraderie is sadly absent in divided America....
We need more Valhalla message boards in this country. Less doxing hate forums.
Somewhat on that topic.
I never understood folks using their real name on social media accounts. I was on facebook for a couple years, with an alias. It was how my 2 youngest sons communicated. So kinda had to. I was on reddit for about a year. I got booted for using an alias. Yet. I don't receive death threats, eh. As well, social media is a welcome tool in the identity theft game.
On reddit, I went by the alias "Spud Davenport" (couch potato)... Ol spud got many hateful responses & threats.
I did have a period in time with some problematic identity theft. The Experian credit bureau hack being the culprit. I still get reports from my id protection service that the info has showed up on yet another dark web data base.
Lol, idk what my point in the last part is. Other than to say.

Last I checked. My hero Sly was living on the street in LA. Destitute, strung out.
In & out of rehab the last 20 years. Makes me so dam sad! Sly, you have a spot on my couch anytime you show up.
Sly will live on forever:

Sly's blending of psychedelic rock with soul and gospel Funk laid the groundwork for the B-52s' own hybrid sound, which merged new wave, surf rock, and dance music.
