There's a minor trend in MLB. Teams going away from max effort long ball swinging. Focusing at least some of the lineup on contact hitting. Going with the pitch that's pitched. Tigers are built to bang taters....

Idk. I'm just an old crippily geezer. Who am I to offer advice. I been whining about that issue a very long time. Now it's kinda happening... Or so I think so.
But nobody is mentioning/ writing about it much less going in depth on the issue.

I could be fully wrong on this... The way the world around me has evolved. I feel I know nothing anymore.
