I am writing as a concerned senior citizen and advocate for digital accessibility to demand immediate and concrete action to address the severe challenges older adults face with artificial intelligence (AI) and digital technologies.

AI systems and digital interfaces have become essential tools for everyday life, from communication to healthcare, banking, and government services. However, the current design and implementation of these technologies often exclude or confuse seniors, creating barriers that are discriminatory and violate federal laws protecting against age discrimination.

The complexity, jargon, and lack of intuitive design in AI-driven systems make it nearly impossible for many seniors to perform tasks that were once simple. This digital ageism is not only unfair but also dangerous, as it isolates older adults from vital services and information.

We demand:

The immediate development and deployment of senior-friendly AI modes with simplified interfaces, clear language, and step-by-step guidance.
Mandatory accessibility standards for AI and digital platforms that specifically address the needs of older adults.
Increased funding and support for training programs that help seniors learn to use AI and digital tools confidently.
Transparent reporting and accountability from tech companies on how they are addressing age-related accessibility issues.
Stronger enforcement of existing federal laws against age discrimination in technology access.
The time for discussion has passed. Seniors deserve technology that respects their dignity and independence today—not in some distant future.

Current strategy appears to be resulotion via attrition/die off. Unacceptable.
It violates a laundry list of codes concerning discrimination.

Please, resolve this issue as a priority to your aging constituency. Urgency required, PLEASE.
