Minnesota has finally won a pro football championship.

The Vixen of the Women’s Football Alliance defeated the Pittsburgh Passion 42-14 on Saturday in Canton, Ohio, home of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

The Vixen are the longest continuously operating women’s tackle football team in the nation, starting play in 1999. They had been 0-4 in league championship games, like their male football counterparts in Minnesota, the Vikings.
