Your QB scenario is SPOT ON for the Vikings. It's how we've operated the past 40 years. Dante was a multi year starter for a while, but it's the same song and dance. Starting QB gets hurt, backup comes in and plays just well enough to get a contract and then HE gets hurt the following year or two later and.....lather rinse repeat. Wish we could draft a 12-15 year starter.
