Don't remember a Rocking Horse But if I took a guess at which house it would be the one opposite Reids Avenue all gone now of course but that house to a young lad had a mystery about it.
There was not too many houses in the fifties and early sixties north of burnt Mills just fields until Archers fields now a huge industrial site on the south a few bungalows with large gardens now a huge Housing complex, the woods still there had a few scary times in there I could walk to Pitsea through the woods and down some unmade roads back of Brisco road and come out by the Railway Hotel on way to Saturday morning Pictures at the Century Cinema some happy and scary times!
