Trying to find out please whether the above subject mentioned name of a house "Emily Lodge" does at all still exist or whether any one at all has any information on where Emily Lodge was or perhaps still stands. A photo of the Emily Lodge, if possible, in its 1938 state, would be great.
The full address, which I have obtained from a 1938 birth certificate, is Emily Lodge, Nevendon Road, Nevendon (in the district of Billericay UD). If I am correct, I read this evening that Timberlog Lane was once formerly Nevendon Road, so what part or where abouts the house Emily Lodge once perhaps stood I don't know although I came across a house by the name of "Emily" in Highlands Avenue, which came off of Bull Road and ran southwards to Highview Road. That comes from a c.1950 map. Bull & Highview both came off Timberlog Lane or the possibly then Nevendon Road. Any help, assistance and information on this address and house name would be great.
